Vegas continued was onto Palm Desert, California where I worked the USA National Field Hockey Festival. 90 Degress and sunny! No my pale skin didnt get a tan but it was a great area to visit. I missed my favorite holiday but we made the best of it! I did my research before hand and found a GREAT thanksgiving buffet in Palm Desert (I think that was the town). Anyway, all you can eat turkey, chicken, prime rib, veggies, potatoes and an endless table of desserts. It was much like the Mother's day brunch put on at the Senator Inn.
I stayed at the Doral in Cathederal City and had a great view of the Mountains and golf course. Too bad the only golfing I do is mini. This was an early view from the balcony in my room.
